There are more diverse, queer or female characters that are named and/or in positions of power than there are named white men in game. And once again, any seemingly normal white males have been portrayed as dumb, miserly, hateful or abusive. The Local church is turning away refugees while the blonde white male members of the congregation are pointing the finger at them being the cause of a murder. The local diverse populous can also be seen protesting next to the news agency calling the white bearded guard a "hog", while the local Circus in Baldur's Gate is run by a drag queen with she/her pronouns, and potentially has the highest concentration of children in the game aside from the Druid's Grove.
  • Homosexual romance is forced, despite being able to turn them down the flirting is in your face, even for characters that it wouldn't make sense for when accounting for their backstory. Counted at least 20 overtly homosexual couples in game including major main story NPCs, none of them are portrayed as "bad", most of the time portrayed as the good guys while every straight couple I've encountered or seen remnants of, all 19/19 are either evil, radical, cowardly, hateful or incompetent.
