London, 1605. Robert Catesby, a 33-year old Warwickshire gentleman, devises a plot to blow up Parliament and kill the King.

Set in 1605, the miniseries "Gunpowder" follows Robert Catesby, a fervent Catholic Englishman disillusioned by the oppressive regime of King James I. Catesby orchestrates the infamous Gunpowder Plot, aiming to assassinate the king and replace him with a Catholic monarch.

He recruits Guy Fawkes, renowned for his expertise with explosives, along with other conspirators. As the plot advances, they face numerous obstacles, including betrayal and the vigilant pursuit of the king's spymaster, Robert Cecil. The tension builds towards the fateful night of November 5th, when their attempt to blow up the House of Lords is thwarted, sealing their grim fate.

Report a mistake

Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels

Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.
