When washed-up comedian Mark McCarthy faces his own mortality, he hires an uptight amateur cameraman to document his outrageously funny lessons on being a man for his unborn son.
"How to Be a Man" follows Mark McCarthy, a former comedian who discovers he has terminal cancer. Determined to leave a legacy for his unborn son, he enlists the help of a young cameraman, Bryan, to document a series of lessons on manhood.
As Mark attempts to impart his unconventional wisdom through a series of increasingly absurd and reckless adventures, the two form an unexpected bond. Their journey becomes a humorous yet poignant exploration of what it truly means to be a man, ultimately challenging Mark’s own perceptions about life and fatherhood.
