It showcases the untold story of the investigation that exposed the monster insidiously lurking behind Fogle's persona and how his true nature as a child sex predator was finally revealed.

In the film "Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster," a true crime documentary series, the rise and fall of Jared Fogel, known as "the Subway Guy," is explored. The series chronicles Fogel's inspiring weight-loss journey through eating Subway sandwiches, which led to his celebrity endorsement by the fast-food chain.

However, his sinister secret is exposed when he confides in a journalist about his inappropriate attraction to middle school girls. Rochelle Herman, the journalist, becomes an informant and helps bring Fogel to justice. The documentary highlights the chilling recordings of Fogel's disturbing conversations, leading to his conviction as a sex offender and his imprisonment for child sex tourism and possession of child pornography.

Report a mistake

Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels

Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.
