A woman fights a group trying to evict her whole neighborhood and give it to a corporation. In a close decision, the Supreme Court favors the evictions. The corporation never builds anything on the site of her demolished home.
A small-town nurse named Susette Kelo emerges as the reluctant leader of her working-class neighbors in their struggle to save their homes from political and corporate interests bent on seizing the land and handing it over to Pfizer Corporation.
Susette's battle goes all the way to the US Supreme Court and the controversial 5-4 decision in Kelo vs. City of New London gave government officials the power to bulldoze a neighborhood for the benefit of a multibillion-dollar corporation. The decision outraged Americans across the political spectrum, and that passion fueled reforms that helped curb eminent domain abuse.

Report a mistake
Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels
Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.
