Road to Vostok is a hardcore single-player survival game set in a post-apocalyptic border zone between Finland and Russia. Survive, loot, plan and prepare your way across the Border Zone and enter the Vostok.
Beginning in the middle of the Eastern European tundra, your job is to gradually fight your way to the titular region of Vostok. Gather supplies, maintain your weapons, and keep an eye on various physical meters like stamina as you cross the perilous terrain.
Antti, a former soldier in the Finnish military, shares details on Road to Vostok’s shelter system. Shelters act both as waypoints and dedicated, interior maps in Road to Vostok, allowing you to plan travel to the next defensible location.

Report a mistake
Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels
Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.

anyway so this is the one where you die because you opened a drawer. Road to Vostok. Finland. Russia. The bit of map in between that nobody put a gift shop on. You start in Area 05 which is "safe" the way a bus station is safe, traders, a shelter you can drag a couch around in, then you walk east because the title told you to. Action the whole way. Guns that jam when you are being interesting. Bandits. Guards with a helicopter they did not earn. I am already talking with my hands. It's an adventure until the inventory is a Tetris board and you are standing in a kitchen deciding whether the canned fish is worth the slot the extra mag wanted. I laughed. Then I got shot. That's the joke. Physics loot. You have to actually pick the thing up. With your body. In the doorway. While the doorway is an argument. Thriller when you look at Vostok. That's the permadeath map. East of the border, military, armored whatever, loot that makes the Border Zone look like a garage sale. You go in on purpose. If you die in there you lose the guy, not just the backpack. I sat there like okay. Okay. Then I went in anyway because of course. War & military is just the weather. Factions doing faction things. Nobody sits you down to explain the geopolitics of a made-up border. The Guards are corrupt because they have a gun and a job. The Military has vehicles. You have a sack. I liked that math. Early Access. AI still walks like it learned patrol from a pamphlet. I am not pretending otherwise. Solo Finnish dev. Game sold a pile of copies in a week and did not spend any of it on a lecture. Four stars. Would absolutely play it again. Actually... Ialready am. the drawer is still open
