The story of how one of the world's most popular video games found its way to players around the globe. Businessman Henk Rogers and Tetris inventor Alexey Pajitnov join forces in the USSR, risking it all to bring Tetris to the masses.

Henk Rogers is a video games publisher who has found the perfect game – Tetris. The only problem is, that it is designed and created by Alexey Pajitnov, a Russian computer engineer. In the midst of the Cold War, the pair seek to bring the game to an international audience and risk diplomatic and commercial disaster in the process.

The legal battle winds up involving Hiroshi Yamauchi, president of Nintendo, British media mogul, Robert Maxwell, countless KGB agents, and even Mikhail Gorbachev himself. This high-stakes thriller is the story of one man’s mission to bring the most addictive video game to millions of households around the world.
