The lives, loves, dangers and disasters in the town, Mystic Falls, Virginia. Creatures of unspeakable horror lurk beneath this town as a teenage girl is suddenly torn between two vampire brothers.

The Vampire Diaries is the story of two vampire brothers, obsessed with the same girl, in a small town with more than its share of supernatural beings. Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev, "DeGrassi: The Next Generation") has always been a star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends.

As the fall semester begins, Elena becomes fascinated with the mysterious new boy in school, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, "Fallen"), and she has no way of knowing he is a centuries-old vampire. While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder, "Lost"), is the embodiment of violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers ─ one good, one evil ─ are at war for Elena's soul in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.

Report a mistake

Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels

Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.
