Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals.

There is a theme across the whole thing of female empowerment that just wasn't needed with maze being a supreme bad ass through seasons 1-5 then there's the racism stuff. Sure if a department happens to be as racist as this it needs to be taken down but I'm pretty sure that through the previous seasons there was only that 1 cop that was a racist not as decker is now discovering most of the police force.
